Turkish paper highlights Azerbaijani defence minister’s meeting with martyrs families
The Turkish daily Sabah has reported on a recent meeting between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and relatives of Turkish martyrs who visited Baku at the invitation of the YAŞAT Foundation.
According to Azertag, the delegation was also welcomed by First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Colonel General Karim Valiyev. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Defence, underscored the close military and humanitarian ties between the two allied nations, Caliber.Az reports.
In his address, Colonel General Hasanov reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s deep respect for the memory of fallen heroes and emphasised the importance of consistent support for their families.
The visitors expressed appreciation for the hospitality and highlighted the growing strength of the historical brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
