Second morning strike on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia leaves one dead PHOTO
Russian forces carried out a second strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of May 30, resulting in one fatality and one injury, according to regional authorities.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said the latest attack involved a drone strike targeting industrial infrastructure within the city. The incident triggered a fire at the site of impact.
“The enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia again. As a result of an enemy drone hitting the territory of one of the industrial infrastructure facilities, a fire broke out. One man sustained fatal injuries. Another was injured,” Fedorov said in a statement posted on Facebook.
In addition to the damage at the industrial facility, a nearby residential building was also affected by the strike, highlighting the broader impact on civilian areas.
