Collective Security Treaty Organisation views Armenia as equal partner Secretary General says
Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov has said that the CSTO continues viewing Armenia as an equal partner and remains open to dialogue on any issues.
"As you know, representatives from Armenia did not participate in the mentioned activities [CSTO exercises]. Nevertheless, we still consider Armenia an equal partner within the organisation and are ready to engage in dialogue with our colleagues in Yerevan on a full range of relevant issues," Tasmagambetov said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Yerevan has suspended its participation in CSTO activities, claiming that the organisation has posed threats to Armenia's sovereignty.
