Security cooperation tops agenda in Paris–Damascus meeting PHOTO

Syrian Defence Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra held a meeting with a French delegation led by the military adviser to President Emmanuel Macron and the Chief of Staff of the French Army, Vincent Giraud, focusing on security-related matters.

According to a statement from the Syrian Defence Ministry, the sides discussed bilateral relations and the regional situation, as well as possible areas of security cooperation.

No further details of the talks were provided.
