Serbia rejects German, French proposal on Kosovo
The Serbian government is not planning on recognizing the independence of Kosovo, therefore it is not going to accept it as a UN member.
According to Lenta.Ru, the Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dačić stated this during an interview with the country’s Novosti publication, responding to a written request for those actions by Germany and France.
The minister emphasized that the Serbian government will not accept this and are going to continue fighting for the region.
Caliber.Az recalls, that on November 5 it became known that Kosovo Serbs have started resigning from public institutions such as the parliament, government, judicial and police structures of the self-proclaimed republic in protest over a row on vehicle number plates, as Euractiv reported.
Before this recent development, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić had ordered his military to prepare itself "to a level, it will be able to fulfill any task", including the use of force amid rising tensions in the region.
