Serbian president warns Europe edging toward war with Russia

European countries are preparing for a direct military confrontation with Russia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced.

He made the statement during a television broadcast, noting that Serbia finds itself between a hammer and an anvil amid the looming threat of war, Caliber.Az reports.

Putting the facts together, President Vucic concluded that a war between Europe and Russia is becoming increasingly inevitable. "This is not just talk — everyone is preparing for it,” Vučić said, adding that the statement was made by a highly responsible general.

Earlier, Vucic stated that Serbia intends to stay out of a possible NATO-Russia war amid growing defence spending by alliance members.

He also announced plans to export weapons to European Union countries, citing a surplus in Serbia’s arms production.
