Seven injured in overnight Russian drone strike on Ukraine’s Sumy region Video

Seven people were injured overnight after a Russian attack targeted a residential building in Ukraine’s Sumy region. 

According to the ASTRA Telegram channel, which cited the head of the regional military administration, three attack drones were used in the strike on the Akhtyr community. The UAVs hit an apartment block where civilians were inside at the time, resulting in multiple injuries, Caliber.Az reports. 

Emergency services remain on the scene, carrying out rescue operations and assessing the extent of the damage. Officials say information about the victims’ conditions is still being clarified.

The regional military administration stated that the strike was a deliberate attack on civilian infrastructure, occurring in the middle of the night while residents were sleeping.
