Ukrainian defence systems intercept Shahed drone in Kyiv VIDEO
Ukrainian defence systems have intercepted a Shahed drone in Kyiv, after an explosion was heard in the city.
Eyewitnesses said one of the unmanned aerial vehicles fell into a lake in the Novobelichi area, Caliber.Az reports, citing social media channels.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the morning of April 24 during a Russian drone attack, as air defence systems were activated in the Ukrainian capital.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a Telegram post that air defence units were engaging incoming drones over the Obolonskyi district, Caliber.Az reports.
“Explosions are being heard in Kyiv. Air defence forces are operating against enemy drones in Obolonskyi. (…) Debris from UAVs fell in two locations in the Solomianskyi district — on non-residential territory and in a body of water,” he noted.
Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, urged residents to remain in shelters.
Earlier, local social media channels shared footage showing Shahed-type drones flying over residential rooftops in Kyiv.
