Six injured as Turkish and Azerbaijani cars crash on single-lane road in Iğdır VIDEO

Two vehicles, one bearing a Turkish license plate and the other an Azerbaijani plate, collided in the city of Iğdır, Türkiye, resulting in multiple injuries.

The accident occurred at the intersection of the ring road in the Tuzluca district, where traffic had been reduced to a single lane due to ongoing road works, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

According to preliminary information, the two vehicles were travelling at high speed when they collided, causing one of the cars to skid off the road and land in a ditch.

Six people sustained injuries in the collision. Following the accident, local residents quickly alerted authorities, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were transported by ambulance to Tuzluca and Iğdır State Hospitals for treatment.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
