Moscow signals retaliation over Russian business pressure in Armenia

Moscow will respond appropriately to any violations of the interests of Russian businesses operating in Armenia, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.

“Armenia has assured us that Russian investments in the republic face no threats, but these statements do not fully correspond to reality,” Galuzin said.

He added that “an increasing number of experts agree that there are signs of a ‘redistribution of property’ in the country for political reasons.”

Galuzin stressed that any violations of the interests of Russian economic operators in Armenia would not go without a “due response” from Moscow.
