Slovakia reaffirms position against military aid to Kyiv

Slovakia will not supply weapons to Ukraine, a policy that remains a core principle of Prime Minister Robert Fico’s government and will continue to be upheld in Bratislava.

The position was outlined in an interview with TASS by Judita Laššáková, a Slovak Member of the European Parliament

“This is one of the core principles of Robert Fico’s policy, his election promise. He promised this to his voters. And as long as Fico is in power, Slovakia will adhere to this principle,” Laššáková said in response to a question.
