Spain declares three-day national mourning after Andalusia train crash

Spain has announced a three-day period of national mourning following a devastating train collision in Andalusia.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez told reporters that the mourning would begin at midnight on January 20 and continue until the night of January 23, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
He emphasised that authorities are committed to ensuring “full transparency” in the investigation into the cause of the tragedy.
According to media reports, the collision claimed at least 39 lives, while more than 150 people sustained injuries.
Emergency services continue to work at the scene, and authorities have urged the public not to jump to conclusions until the official investigation is complete.
