Spain urges Israel, Hezbollah to stop attacks
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares has stated that Lebanon is experiencing a dramatic moment in its history, calling on Israel to cease its bombings and on Hezbollah to stop attacks.
In a post on X, he emphasised that the people of Lebanon should not become hostages to an external conflict, Caliber.Az reports.

Spain will continue to support Lebanon by providing financial assistance of €9 million. Albares also held talks with his Lebanese counterpart, Youssef Raji, stressing the importance of maintaining Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the need to protect civil infrastructure.
“Lebanon deserves a future of stability, peace, and prosperity,” the Spanish foreign minister underscored.
