Supreme leader: Iranian resistance to grow stronger, expand across Middle East

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has said that if pressure on Iran and resistance forces does not cease, they will only grow stronger and spread throughout the Middle East.

Khamenei made these remarks during a speech to the nation, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.

"This is resistance. This is the front of resistance: the more pressure is applied, the stronger it becomes. The more atrocities are committed, the more motivated it becomes. The more it is fought, the more it expands. And I tell you that with the power of God, the scope of resistance will encompass the entire region more than before," Khamenei said.

Earlier, Khamenei said that a military coup, organised with the involvement of the US, Israel and through the support of a neighbouring country, occurred in Syria.

“There should be no doubt that what happened in Syria is the product of a joint American and Zionist plan. Yes, a neighboring government of Syria plays, has played, and is playing an obvious role in this regard - everyone sees this - but the main conspirator, mastermind, and command centre are in America and the Zionist regime. We have evidence. This evidence leaves no room for doubt,” Khamenei said.
