Sweden deports 20 Uzbek citizens for migration violations
13 May 2026 21:23
Swedish authorities have deported 20 citizens of Uzbekistan for violations of immigration laws, transporting them to Tashkent on a charter flight.
The return was organised through coordination between the relevant authorities of both countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.
Issues related to identification, documentation, and safe transportation were reportedly resolved promptly.
Uzbekistan continues to cooperate with foreign states to protect the rights of its citizens and prevent illegal migration.
The report notes that European countries have tightened migration rules in recent years, and citizens abroad are being reminded to strictly comply with the laws of their host countries.
