Syria backs UN Security Council resolution condemning Iranian attacks
Syria has welcomed a resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council condemning attacks by Iran on countries in the Persian Gulf region and on Jordan.
In a statement published on X, Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said it supports the resolution, which calls for the immediate cessation of the attacks, as Caliber.Az reports.

According to the ministry, such incidents represent a direct threat to regional security and stability.
“Syria calls for the immediate cessation of any escalatory actions and strongly recommends dialogue in order to preserve security in the region and prevent the expansion of tensions,” the ministry said in the statement.
