Syria, Jordan, Iraq close airspace amid Israel-Iran tensions

Syria, Jordan and Iraq have all announced the closures of their airspace after Iranian missiles struck Haifa.

In Lebanon, incoming and outgoing flights were cancelled after Iranian projectiles were spotted in the Beirut sky, according to The Washington Post.

As tensions between Iran and Israel have been ongoing since June 13, Iran launched a significant barrage of missiles targeting northern Israeli cities on June 14. Sirens erupted in Haifa and surrounding areas, with some rockets penetrating Israeli air defences and landing near Haifa’s port and oil refinery, triggering fires.
