Syria reports dismantling of ISIS-linked networks, 235 arrested

Syria’s Interior Ministry has stated that seven cells linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) have been eliminated over the past three months during joint security operations.
A total of 235 people were arrested during the period, including 198 Syrians and 37 foreign nationals, Caliber.Az reports, citing Syria TV.
The ministry said the dismantled cells were operating in Damascus and its suburbs, as well as in the provinces of Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and Deir ez-Zor.
Authorities added that weapons and various pieces of equipment were seized during the operations, including electronic devices, explosives, and vehicles.
