Senior European and international officials have convened in Munich for the annual Munich Security Conference, a central forum for discussions on global security challenges. Among this year’s notable participants is European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, joining the conference for the first time.
Last year, Al-Shaibani led the Syrian delegation at the 61st Munich Security Conference, emphasising that Syria’s diversity is a source of strength and reaffirming the Syrian people’s commitment to pursuing national interests.
