Syrian interior ministry denies reports of fatalities in Damascus suburb blast

The Syrian Interior Ministry has denied reports that anyone was killed in a minibus explosion in the Jaramana suburb of Damascus, according to a statement published on the ministry's Telegram channel.

The statement said the Interior Ministry continues to investigate the incident, which left 14 civilians injured, Caliber.Az reports.

Officials from the Damascus Health Directorate also denied reports of fatalities.

The incident occurred on the evening of August 6, with preliminary reports indicating that an explosive device had been planted inside the minibus.

Earlier, Al-Ikhbaria TV reported that two people had been killed and 13 others wounded.

No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
