The Syrian National Army (SNA) forces are continuing to fight against PKK/YPG terrorists in Manbij.
The SNA, which liberated Manbij from the terrorists on December 9 as part of the "Operation Dawn of Freedom", is still engaged in clashes with PKK/YPG militants in the area near the Tishrin Dam, located to the southeast of the city, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

The SNA forces have blown up tunnels belonging to the PKK/YPG terrorists around Tishrin and the Karakozak Bridge.
Due to mortar shelling by the terrorists on settlements in the region, local residents are being forced to leave their homes.
Sources from the Ministry of National Defence (MSB) have stated that full control of Manbij and the Tishrin Dam rests with the Syrian National Army, asserting that the terrorist organization is engaging in deliberate disinformation as it faces its final struggles.
To recap, as of December 13, the Syrian National Army (SNA) has successfully driven out the PKK/YPG terrorist group from the Tishrin Dam, a crucial hydroelectric facility on the Euphrates River. This marks a significant achievement in the ongoing "Operation Dawn of Freedom".
The Tishrin Dam, located south of Manbij, was seized by the PKK/YPG with US support in December 2015 and became a key base for the group in January 2016. The dam is essential for providing water and electricity to Syria, meeting a large portion of the nation's energy needs, particularly in the eastern provinces.
The PKK/YPG, linked to the PKK, has aimed to create a corridor along Türkiye's border amid the power vacuum left by the fall of the Assad regime. The group is regarded as a terrorist organization by Ankara and many Western nations.
