Syrian president, Kuwaiti crown prince discuss strengthening bilateral ties

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa and Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah discussed ways to strengthen ties between their countries and exchanged views on key regional and international issues, Syria’s official news agency SANA reported on Thursday, September 24.

The meeting took place on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, according to SANA.

The two leaders discussed measures to further develop bilateral relations and addressed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, the agency reported.
