Teenager killed in mass street fight in Dushanbe, Tajikistan PHOTO

A mass brawl in Dushanbe has resulted in the death of a teenager, Caliber.Az reports, citing Tajik media.

The incident occurred in the capital’s Firdavsi district during a clash between groups of minors following online disputes and insults on social media.

According to the Tajik Interior Ministry, the teenagers used sharp objects during the fight, leaving one dead and another seriously injured.

The suspected perpetrator has been placed in pre-trial detention, and prosecutors have opened a criminal case on charges of “murder.” Investigations are ongoing into the involvement of other participants in the conflict.
