Three injured as Russian forces launch 677 attacks on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia
Three people were injured on January 17 following a Russian strike on the Zaporizhzhia district, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.
Fedorov said that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out attacks on 29 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region, with a total of 677 assaults of various types recorded.
The regional administration reported 18 airstrikes. In addition, 369 drones of different models — predominantly FPV drones — targeted multiple settlements.
Authorities also documented four attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems, along with 286 artillery strikes directed at several towns and villages in the region.
As a result of the shelling, 38 reports were submitted regarding damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.
