Three people, including minor, killed in Spain shooting
At least three people, including a minor, were killed in a shooting in Isla Cristina in southwestern Spain, EFE reports, citing sources.
The outlet said the shooting took place on the evening of August 16 in the El Rocío neighbourhood, when two hooded individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on several people before fleeing the scene.
Two women and a teenager were killed. Police believe the victims were likely related.
The Civil Guard is investigating the incident to determine the circumstances of the shooting and identify the suspected perpetrators.
According to EFE, the shooting may have been linked to a previous incident in Huelva’s El Torrejón neighbourhood in September 2024, when one person was killed and two others were injured.
