Today is the birthday of First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva

Today, August 26, is the birthday of the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.

Mehriban Aliyeva was born in Baku in a family of intellectuals. Her father, Arif Pashayev, is the rector of the National Aviation Academy, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and her mother, Aida Imanguliyeva, was a well-known orientalist.

Mehriban Aliyeva has dedicated and continues to devote her entire life to Azerbaijan. Being a reliable support to President Ilham Aliyev in all his undertakings, Mehriban Aliyeva is at the same time an exemplary example of how one can successfully combine state and public activities with care and attention to one's family.
