29 April 2026 11:57
French energy company TotalEnergies has resumed operations at the SATORP oil refinery in Saudi Arabia, which had been shut down on April 10 following strikes that occurred overnight between April 7 and 8.
The company said that undamaged units have already been restarted, and since April 14, the refinery has been operating at around 230,000 barrels per day, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
According to TotalEnergies, one of the two processing units was damaged in the attack, but no casualties were reported. All facilities were halted at the time as a precaution.
The facility is a joint venture, with 62.5% owned by Saudi Aramco and 37.5% by TotalEnergies.
