Trade turnover between Russia, EU reaches an eight-year high in 2022

The trade turnover between Russia and the European Union reached 258.6 billion euros in 2022, the highest level in eight years, while the imports of European countries from Russia reached a historical record level.

In 2022, EU imports of goods from Russia increased by a quarter to 203.4 billion euros, only 230 million less than the historical maximum in 2012 (203.6 billion euros), Gazeta.ru reports quoting the Eurostat data.
