Trade turnover between Russia, Georgia down

The trade turnover between Russia and Georgia has decreased.
The total volume of trade turnover between Georgia and Russia reached $2.401 billion in 2023 which is slightly less than in 2022 — $2.478 billion, the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat) said, Caliber.Az reports citing the Georgian media.
Georgia imported products worth $1.744 billion from the Russian Federation in 2023 which is less than in 2022 — $1.835 billion. The export of goods from Georgia to Russia slightly increased and reached $657 million in 2023 ($642.4 million in 2022).
Türkiye ranks first among Georgia's trading partners, but the Russian Federation ranks first in the export volume from Georgia.
