Moscow detains senior Russian Industry Ministry official

Alla Polovchenya, deputy head of the Department of Unmanned Systems and Robotics at the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, has been detained in Moscow, the ministry's press service confirmed to TASS.

“Yesterday [July 29], law enforcement authorities detained Alla Polovchenya, deputy head of the Department of Unmanned Systems and Robotics of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade,” the ministry said in a statement.

The press service added that the ministry is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
