Four people were injured after a drone attack struck an industrial facility in the village of Volna in Russia's Krasnodar region, triggering a fire, Russian authorities said.
The regional operational headquarters said the attack damaged an enterprise in the settlement, where the Port of Taman and the Tamanneftegaz marine oil terminal are located. No further details were provided on the condition of the injured or the extent of the damage.
Independent Russian news outlet ASTRA reported that NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) detected fire hotspots at both the Port of Taman and the Tamanneftegaz marine oil terminal in Volna, in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar region.
According to information published on the terminal's website, the Taman LPG, Oil and Petroleum Products Transshipment Complex, operated by Tamanneftegaz LLC, includes an LPG transshipment terminal and an oil terminal with a combined annual handling capacity of 19.9 million tonnes.
The facility is designed to transfer liquefied petroleum gas, crude oil and petroleum products delivered by rail onto sea-going vessels.
