AmCham supports 2027 Russia-US-Germany business forum proposal

The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham Russia) has backed a proposal to hold a trilateral business forum involving Russia, the United States and Germany in 2027, AmCham President Robert Agee told TASS.

Agee said the proposal by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, to organize the three-way business forum next year was a positive and timely initiative.

“We view the proposal by Russian Direct Investment Fund head Kirill Dmitriev to hold a trilateral business forum in 2027 as a positive and timely step. Any platform that contributes to restoring business dialogue and bringing back common sense deserves attention,” Agee said.

“Amid global interdependence in the world economy, bringing Germany in as a key European economy could create a broader platform for discussing issues that matter both to these countries and to the rest of the world,” he added.
