Georgia’s PM to attend first international space summit in France

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the first International Space Summit in France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Georgian government said.

Kobakhidze travelled to France with a delegation and is scheduled to participate in discussions on space research, science, security and defence, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.

Levan Jorjoliani, head of the Georgian government administration, said the summit would also focus on Europe’s achievements in these fields and the importance of coordinated efforts among participating countries.

Kobakhidze will also attend an official reception hosted by Macron for leaders taking part in the summit.
