Wildberries logistics hub near Russia’s Penza hit in drone attack, catches fire PHOTO / VIDEO

30 July 2026 09:21

A Wildberries logistics centre near the Russian city of Penza was struck and caught fire following a drone attack, according to open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysis by ASTRA.

Residents of Penza reported explosions and a fire overnight on July 30.

Penza Region Governor Oleg Melnichenko confirmed that Ukrainian drones had targeted the Wildberries warehouse in the village of Mastynovka.

“Ukrainian drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse. According to preliminary information, one person was injured and around 200 employees were evacuated. Ambulances, firefighting crews, Emergency Ministry personnel, and law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the scene. An open fire is burning at the warehouse, and firefighters are working to extinguish it.

Due to the fire caused by the terrorist attack on the Wildberries warehouse, smoke is spreading and may drift toward the city. If you notice a strong odour, keep your windows closed, avoid spending unnecessary time outdoors, especially with children, and limit walks with pets,” Melnichenko wrote.

ASTRA's analysis of footage from the scene indicates that the fire broke out at the Wildberries logistics centre in Mastynovka, Bessonovsky District, Penza Region.

The Wildberries (RWB) logistics complex is a major distribution hub serving Russia’s Volga Federal District.

The Penza regional government has said that the facility will cover approximately 180,000 square meters once fully completed. The first phase of the logistics complex, spanning about 90,000–91,000 square meters, has already been commissioned.
