Trump says he could resume bombing if dissatisfied with Iran memorandum
US President Donald Trump has stated that if he is not satisfied with the terms of the Iran agreement, he will bomb the country again.
Commenting on the deal, he said the agreement remains unfinished for now, according to Clash Reports.
“The text is not final; it's a memorandum of understanding. If I don't like it, we will go back to dropping bombs on their heads. If they don't behave, we will go right back to dropping bombs,” Trump noted.
Earlier, Politico reported that there was no unified position within Donald Trump’s administration on a memorandum of understanding with Iran, with only a limited group — including JD Vance, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff — viewed as supportive of the deal.
A source said most of the administration’s leadership does not consider the agreement beneficial for Washington, describing the potential deal as “horrible.”
The source called it a de facto “capitulation” by the United States, and labelled the idea of lifting sanctions and unfreezing Iranian assets as “insane.”
“The Iranians won’t give us anything on nuclear or anything else in these next 60 days. They know once the strait is open we will have zero credible threat of force or will to do it. And the money and sanctions stuff is crazy,” the source noted.
