According to Axios journalist Barak Ravid, who cited informed sources, the talks will focus on two key objectives of the Trump administration: advancing a potential ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and laying the groundwork for renewed nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
He noted that the American leader is seeking to resume negotiations between Washington and Tehran to reach a new nuclear agreement, and also aims to secure the release of Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas militants and held in the Gaza Strip.
