Turkish media highlights Azerbaijani president’s address at Central Asia summit PHOTO

Turkish media widely covered the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the 7th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, today, November 16.

Today's reports from the brotherly country focused on Aliyev’s address to the summit participants, particularly his remarks on the Zangezur Corridor project (TRIPP – Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity), Caliber.Az reports, citing Azertag.

Publications cited excerpts from the President’s speech, including his assessments of the agreements reached in Washington this August regarding the connection of mainland Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as the construction schedule of the Zangezur Corridor within Azerbaijan.

The reports emphasised that the railway, with a capacity of 15 million tons, is set to become a key artery of the Middle Corridor.
