Turkish President Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan kicks off VIDEO
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's official visit to Azerbaijan has started.
After his successful re-election as President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan made his first foreign visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on June 12.
In Lefkos, the Turkish leader held a meeting with the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar.
TRNC Prime Minister Unal Ustel and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar then joined the talks.
On June 13, President Erdogan arrived in Azerbaijan for a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan were met by Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and other officials.
In Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, Erdogan will hold talks on the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations in the future, as well as discuss the current situation in the region and in the world.
