Turkish radar screen Chare in service of Azerbaijani airports
Azerbaijan has started to use the Chare Radar screen, one of the Ar-Ge projects, developed by Turkish engineers, whose intellectual and industrial property rights belong to the General Directorate of State Airports of Türkiye (DHMİ).
The General Directorate of State Airports of Türkiye (DHMİ) told TurkicWorld, according to Trend.
“The system, which allows air traffic controllers to efficiently manage air traffic and maintain security at the highest level, was installed at the Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport, Ganja and Fuzuli airports as part of a cooperation agreement signed between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. After user training, the successfully completed system began to be used in the air traffic control services of Azerbaijan,” the report says.
The corresponding protocol between the DHMİ and Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZANS-Azəraeronaviqasiya) was signed in 2022.
