Two civilians wounded in Russian nighttime attack on Zaporizhzhia, official says PHOTO
Two people were injured in a Russian air attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of December 23 to 24, Ukrainian officials said.
Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration head Ivan Fedorov said on Telegram that a man and a woman were wounded in the strike and are receiving all necessary medical assistance, per Caliber.Az.
“Two people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. The victims are receiving full medical care,” Fedorov posted.

In a Telegram post a day earlier, Fedorov wrote that Russian forces carried out 668 strikes across 23 settlements in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region on December 22-23, with frontline and border areas bearing the brunt. The attacks resulted in 56 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure. Authorities confirmed that no civilians were injured.
