Two injured as Russian shelling hits Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region PHOTO / VIDEO

Russian forces shelled the Zaporizhzhia region on the morning of Apil 17, injuring two people and causing damage to residential areas.

The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, wrote on Telegram that strikes hit multiple parts of the city and surrounding districts, Caliber.Az reports. 

Residential buildings and vehicles were damaged in three districts, with fires breaking out following the shelling.

Emergency services were deployed to the affected areas to contain the damage and respond to the incidents, authorities said.
