Two killed, six injured in Russian overnight attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk
Two people were killed and six others injured in overnight Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, regional officials said on May 20.
According to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration, Russian forces targeted two districts using missiles, drones, and artillery, Caliber.Az reports.
In the city of Dnipro, the attacks damaged a food warehouse, private homes, and a vehicle. Two people were killed in the strike, while six others sustained injuries.
Three of the injured — a 42-year-old woman and two men aged 47 and 25 — remain hospitalised in serious condition. Two additional men, aged 47 and 40, were admitted to hospital with moderate injuries, while a 27-year-old man is expected to recover on an outpatient basis.
Russian strikes also hit the Petrikivka community in the Dniprovskyi district, damaging a business facility, Hanzha said.
In the Nikopol district, attacks were reported in the district center as well as the Marganets, Pokrov, and Krasnohryhorivka communities. The shelling damaged a business, an apartment building, several private homes, and vehicles.
