Ukrainian authorities say they have detained two individuals suspected of carrying out an attack in a town near Kyiv on behalf of Russia.
According to officials, the suspects—a 17-year-old from the Chernivtsi region and a 23-year-old resident of Brovary—were allegedly recruited by a Russian handler who promised them financial compensation to carry out the operation, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.

Law enforcement agencies said both individuals have been taken into custody. During searches, officers reportedly seized mobile phones, SIM cards, and components believed to be used in assembling an explosive device.
The arrests follow an earlier incident in the city of Brovary, in the Kyiv region, where an explosion left one person injured. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
