UAE expresses readiness to expand healthcare cooperation with Azerbaijan VIDEO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev, has met with a delegation led by Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the healthcare sector.
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Health, Musayev highlighted the visits of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the United Arab Emirates, as well as visits by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, noting that these exchanges have played an important role in strengthening bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports.
He emphasised the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE across various fields, including healthcare, and outlined ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan aimed at modernising the healthcare system, improving the quality of medical services, and introducing digital solutions.
In turn, UAE Minister of State Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri expressed gratitude for the hospitality and stated his country’s readiness to further expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in healthcare.
The two sides discussed in detail the current state and future prospects of cooperation, with a focus on the introduction of innovative medical technologies, infrastructure development, improvement of service quality, and the creation of digital healthcare systems.
They also addressed medical personnel training, professional development programs, cooperation in research and innovation, and the adoption of best international practices.
Both sides underlined the importance of such meetings for deepening mutual cooperation and agreed to continue work on expanding ties and implementing concrete projects.
