UAE plans to implement joint audit projects with Azerbaijan, says official

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to implement joint projects with Azerbaijan in the field of auditing, Director General of Corporate Efficiency Sector at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, Mahmoud Salem Alalawi, told journalists in Baku.

According to him, special programs will be held in both Baku and the UAE to facilitate the future implementation of these projects with Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

"Cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of auditing is one of our priorities. The Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts in 2022 laid a solid foundation for collaboration and promotes joint activities in knowledge and information exchange, as well as capacity building," he noted.
