UK PM calls on G7 countries to increase pressure on Russia
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has urged G7 nations to ramp up support for Ukraine, calling for greater pressure on the Russian Federation.
Starmer asked other G7 leaders to continue making life difficult for President Putin by increasing military aid to Ukraine and intensifying economic sanctions, wherever possible, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The British Prime Minister believes that the West should provide further assistance to Ukraine, as there are no signs of Russia’s readiness to concede.
Earlier in December, representatives from six European countries and EU foreign affairs chief, Josep Borrell, signed the Berlin Declaration on Ukraine, reaffirming their commitment to the so-called peace formula proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
