Ukraine announces destruction of Russian assets in Primorsk strike
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces carried out an operation against facilities at the port of Primorsk, hitting Russian military and infrastructure targets.
According to him, the operation was conducted jointly by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the State Border Guard Service.
Zelenskyy stated that the strike damaged a Russian Project “Karakurt” missile ship, a patrol boat, and one tanker belonging to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet.” The Ukrainian leader also reported significant damage to oil terminal infrastructure at the port.
He added that such actions are aimed at reducing Russia’s military potential and said Ukraine will continue responding to strikes on Ukrainian cities and settlements.
