Ukraine brings 10 military personnel home from Russian captivity

Ukraine has returned 10 military personnel from Russian captivity in an exchange conducted through Belarus, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel.

“These are servicemen of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine. They defended the country in the Donetsk direction. All of them were considered missing. And it is very important that we managed to bring them back,” Zelenskyy wrote.

The Ukrainian president also thanked everyone working continuously to secure the return of Ukrainian citizens. He stressed that Ukraine remembers “every person who remains in captivity.”
