Ukraine confirms strike on oil refinery, multiple military targets inside Russia VIDEO
The Ukrainian Armed Forces say they carried out a series of overnight strikes targeting energy and military infrastructure in Russia and Russian-occupied territories, including an oil refinery in southern Russia.
In a statement, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said units conducted a strike on the Tuapse Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai during the night of April 28, describing it as part of efforts to reduce Russia’s “military and economic potential.” The statement added that the facility is involved in supplying Russian forces in Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports.
Ukrainian forces also said they struck a radar station belonging to a Russian radio-technical unit in the Okhotnichye area of Crimea, which is under Russian occupation.
According to the military, additional targets were hit over the past 24 hours, including Russian command posts and special facilities in several locations, as well as a logistics depot in the Zaporizhzhia region. It also reported attacks on concentrations of Russian forces in parts of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in occupied Crimea.
The statement further said that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control centre near Hola Prystan in the Kherson region was also targeted.
