Ukraine destroys Russian military equipment on Black Sea drilling rig VIDEO

Ukraine’s Naval Forces said they had destroyed Russian military facilities and equipment on the “Sivash” drilling rig at the Golitsyn gas condensate field in the Black Sea.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, Russian forces had been using equipment installed on the rig to control attack drones and to guide and adjust strikes against cities in southern Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports.

The Navy also said reconnaissance systems deployed on the platform were being used to monitor Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats.

According to the Ukrainian military, the drilling rig was additionally being used to house Russian special forces, weapons and equipment intended to counter Ukrainian drones and unmanned maritime vessels.
